- PGA TOUR 2K23 have officially announced the game will launch with 20 officially licensed golf courses when the game launches on October 14, 2022 (October 11, 2022 early access for Deluxe and Tiger Edition Owners). These courses include the following:
- South Course of Wilmington Country Club, The Renaissance Club, St. George’s Golf and Country Club, TPC Sawgrass, TPS Scottsdale, East Lake Golf Club, The Copperhead Course (Innisbrook), Riviera Country Club, Bay Hill Golf Club & Lodge (Arnold Palmer Course), TPC Louisiana, TPC Deere Run, TPC San Antonio, Atlantic Beach Country Club, Detroit Golf Club, Quail Hollow Club, TPC Summerlin, TPC Twin Cities, TPC River Highlands, TPC Southwind, TPC Boston
- On top of this, 2K announced that more official golf courses will be coming as free post launch DLC!
- So far these courses will be coming as free post launch DLC: Pebble Beach Golf Club, Spyglass Hill, and Torrey Pines North and South Courses
So now we all know the official courses we will see at launch in PGA TOUR 2K23 on October 14, 2022! Many of the courses are returning course that were in PGA TOUR 2K21. However, Wilmington Country Club, The Renaissance Club, St. George’s Golf and Country Club, Pebble Beach Golf Club, Spyglass Hill, and Torrey Pines North and South Courses are huge additions to the PGA 2K golf series!
It is important to note that PGA TOUR 2K23 will also feature the community favorite Course Designer game mode. The design community in PGA 2K21 have built some of the best courses in the video game, and have created multiple real course recreation designs of many of the worlds most popular golf courses. Gamers will not ever be without high quality courses to play even outside the official courses in PGA TOUR 2K23 due to this incredible course design community.
It is going to be interesting to see how the new EA SPORTS PGA TOUR ROAD TO THE MASTERS video game (releasing Spring 2023) will respond to the basically unlimited high-quality courses that will be in PGA TOUR 2K23. Who knows, maybe EA has been working on a course designer in their new game. Nobody knows at this point, but some exciting times ahead for virtual golf fans with two huge golf games releasing in the next year!
